Privacy policy
At Movalytics we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
1. Data controller
Movalytics is a service operated by Adán Martín Puche, tax ID (NIF) 25666291Q, with registered address at calle Magnolias, 35, El Puerto de Santa María (Cádiz), Spain, who is the data controller. For any privacy-related questions, or to exercise your rights, you can write to us at [email protected].
2. Data we collect
We collect the data you voluntarily provide when requesting a demo, contacting us, or registering with the application (name, email address and, where applicable, details about your professional activity). We may also collect technical usage data (cookies, IP address, browser type) for analytics purposes.
If you sign up for the beta programme, we store your name, email address, profession and the operating system of your phone. We use them only to manage your place, send you the invitation and access details, and ask for your feedback. If you choose Android, your email is added to the Google Play tester list; if you choose iPhone, Apple manages your participation through TestFlight. You can ask us to delete your request at any time at [email protected].
3. Data about your athletes or patients
As a professional using Movalytics, you may record data about your athletes or patients, including health data (physical test results, anthropometric measurements, wellness and training load). With respect to that data, you act as the data controller and Movalytics acts as the data processor, handling it solely on your instructions and for the purpose of providing you the service.
When entering third-party data into the platform, you warrant that you have a lawful basis to do so and, where required, the informed consent of the data subject. For minors, you warrant that you have the consent of their parents or legal guardians: the app warns you when the date of birth corresponds to a minor and, if they are under 14, it does not let you save their profile unless you declare that you hold that consent. Health data is a special category of data and must be handled with particular care.
Data is stored on servers located in the European Union. To provide the service we rely on providers acting as sub-processors (database hosting, encrypted backups, payment gateway and email delivery), subject to the safeguards required by law. The platform applies security measures such as per-account data isolation and encryption of communications.
To detect and fix faults, the app sends technical error reports to Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), with data hosted in the European Union. These reports contain the type of error, the app version, the device model and an internal identifier of your account. They do not include your name, your email or any data about your athletes or patients.
4. Purpose of processing
We use your data to manage your demo or contact request, provide you access to the platform, respond to your inquiries and, where you have given consent, send you commercial communications about our products and services.
5. Data retention
We retain your data for as long as a contractual relationship or legitimate interest exists, and afterwards for the periods required by law. You can delete your account and all its data at any time from the app settings, which permanently erases both your account and the athlete data you have recorded.
If your subscription ends, your account becomes read-only for 30 days: you can still view and export your data, but not add new data. One week before that period ends we notify you by email and, when it is over, we permanently erase your account and your athletes' data. If you subscribe again before then, nothing is deleted. Backups expire within a maximum of 30 days.
When you delete an athlete, a record or any other item inside the app, it stops being shown immediately and is kept hidden for 30 days, so that the deletion reaches all your devices when they sync. After that period it is permanently removed from our database. An athlete's photo is removed at the moment you delete them.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, object to processing and request portability of your data. You can exercise these rights by writing to [email protected]. If you are an athlete or patient whose data was recorded by a professional, please contact that professional, who is the controller of that data.
7. Cookies and analytics
We use our own cookies, which are necessary for the site to work, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are only enabled if you accept them in the notice shown on your first visit, and you can decline them without any limitation on your use of the site.
The analytics tools we use are:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited): visit, page view and conversion statistics, with IP anonymisation and without using the data for personalised advertising.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited): heatmaps and anonymous session recordings, used to spot friction points on the site. It does not record what you type into forms.
- Google Search Console: aggregated data about how traffic arrives from search. It does not set cookies in your browser.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing the site data for movalytics.es in your browser settings: the notice will appear again and you can choose differently. You can also block cookies directly from those same settings.
